Invasive species

This article will provide an introduction to the effects of invasive species on the coastal marine environment. Although many of the most damaging species invade the marine environment, habitats in transitional waters and some terrestrial habitats can be advesely effected. Global warming is likely to increase the incidence of such invasions.
